Install Tor Browser 6.0 on Linux MInt and Ubuntu Derivatives

Tor Browser Bundle is a free and platform-independent application designed to allow users to browser the Web anonymously through the powerful Tor network on the Linux, Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X operating systems, without the need to use any third-party software.

How to Install Tor Browser 6.0 on Linux Mint and Ubuntu Derivatives via PPA :

To install Tor Browser 6.0 on Ubuntu 16.04 Xenial Xerus, Ubuntu 15.10 wily werewolf, Ubuntu 15.04 vivid Vervet, ubuntu 14.10 Utopic Unicorn, Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr (LTS), Linux Mint 18 sarah, Linux Mint 17.1, Linux Mint 17.2, Linux Mint 17.3 and other Ubuntu derivative systems, open a new Terminal window and bash (get it?) in the following commands:

For Ubuntu 32 bit :

1$ sudo wget https://www.torproject.org/dist/torbrowser/6.0/tor-browser-linux32-6.0_en-US.tar.xz

1$ sudo tar -xvf tor-browser-linux32-6.0_en-US.tar.xz

1$ cd tor-browser_en-US/

1$ ./start-tor-browser.desktop

For Ubuntu  64 bit :

1$ sudo wget https://www.torproject.org/dist/torbrowser/6.0/tor-browser-linux64-6.0_en-US.tar.xz

1$ sudo tar -xvf tor-browser-linux64-6.0_en-US.tar.xz

1$ cd tor-browser_en-US/

1$ ./start-tor-browser.desktop
